"ON" is when you push the top of the toggle when looking at them in the normal reading position. #1 off is normal draft mode. #1 on is NLQ mode. #2 off is normal(auto) line feed. #2 on is no line feed #3 and #4 are used together. #3 and #4 off is 1525 emulation. #3 on #4 off is Super Graphic mode #3 off #4 on is ASCII conversion. #3 on #4 on is Transparent. #5,#6 and #7 are used together. They are printer selections. #5 off #6 off #7off = Epson, Panasonic and Riteman. #5 on #6 off #7 off= Gemini10X, Delta and SG-10 #5 off #6 on #7 off= Okidata. #5 on #6 on #7 off= Prowrite,Seikosha,NEC-8023 #5 off #6 off #7 on =GX-100, Banana, MPS-801 #5 on #6 off #7 on =Legend, Blue Chip(M120/10) #5 off #6 on #7 on =132 column Epson or Panasonic. #5 on #6 on #7 on =Daisy Wheel(graphics disabled) Dip # 8 is all by itself, #8 off = device #4 #8 on = device #5.
