This is Errol Smith's revised version Novaterm v10 More details are at: http://www.ros.com.au/~errol/nt10.html Errol posted the following message in the C= Homestead list about this release: Proving that I have almost (but not quite) mastered the art of procrastination, I finally present to you my version of Novaterm 10. About 6 months ago Nick Rossi released as freeware NT9.6 and a beta of NT10 including source. What he didn't do was release NT10 with all the stuff I'd done to it! So here it is. It's also BETA (alpha might be more appropriate actually). It might not even work for all I know. It worked for me, I uploaded it, that's it. See my page for downloading & various stuff about it. http://www.ros.com.au/~errol/nt10.html What you probably want to hear is that it does _PPP with telnet_ on a stock 64 or 128. The catch is that you can't upload or download in telnet mode. Bummer eh? Lots of stuff don't work though, but it makes an ok terminal (up/dl works there). It is of course 100% CMD compatible, tested with SCPU (thanks Gaelyne), CMD HD, Jiffydos etc. Try it. Maybe it won't work, maybe it will. Maybe it'll suck and you'll stick with 9.6. Maybe you're actually usint NT10 already and this is a kickass upgrade. Maybe you couldn't give a stuff now that you have the wave. Make your own opinion! :-) Note that I won't (and haven't) be doing any more "real" work on NT10. See my page for the things I am prepared to fix (there isnt much). Feel free to work on it yourself (If/when I find the sourcecode. Suffered HD crash and lost a lot of it but have backups of various kinds but need to consolidate them all which takes effort) It's 3:30am. Goodnight! btw, Gaelyne, could you update your ftp site with the 2.15 versions of unzip64/128? Thanks. (They are required to unzip this version of NT properly) [Gaelyne comments: Done!] +--- Errol Smith // Strobe ----+ +------- errol@ros.com.au -------+ http://www.ros.com.au/~errol/64.html
